V.I.M Camping Box

Hi, everyone!

For a long time, I have been waiting for it to arrive — it’s the Marzia’s V.I.M subscription box. It’s the first time I have received her subscription box. I was excited for it since I subscribed to it.

The theme of the box, this time, was all about camping. I’m not much of a camper myself, but I still was excited about the items. I adore Marzia, and she’s definitely one of my favorite people in the world. I get my inspiration from her, and she’s among the people that I look up to. I find her sense of style and personality so unique and valuable. The items she designs are all so well-thought through and delicately made in my opinion. So waiting for the subscription box to arrive was excruciating.

But finally, it still did arrive! I had already seen loads of pictures from Marzipans (Marzia’s fans) posting about it — which made the wait even more tiring. The box arrived at the post office on Wednesday afternoon — I immediately asked my father to drive me to there. Fortunately, the post office is pretty close to our house.

After I had got home, I started eagerly unboxing. The box contained a list of the items that were included in the box with Marzia’s comments about them. The list made every item seem personal as if the box was a gift from a thoughtful friend.

The first item in the box was the First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads. I haven’t had a chance to give them a try yet, but I like the idea of them, and they will definitely come in handy. Plus the packaging isn’t heavy or bulky so they will be wonderful for long plane flights when I feel like my skin needs some extra care.

The second item was the bandana, which I already had an opportunity to wear — and I loved it. I wore it during the hike with my best friend, Marily. I loved the pattern, and Marily said that the color suited me. I also liked the fact that it held the baby hair out of my face. I will definitely adapt this bandana into some of my other looks.

The third item was the Marzipan Camping Mug, which I immediately fell in love with. One thing you should know about me — I’m a tea addict. So this mug won over my heart. I liked the design and the fact that the mug is lightweight and portable. I’m convinced on bringing it along with me to England as I can be sure that it won’t break in my suitcase. The design of the mug is lovely and surely fits the theme.

Next item on the list is wet n wild Megaglo Makeup Stick. I don’t own any cosmetics from wet n wild, but as I watched the video about the subscription box on Marzia’s youtube channel, I still managed to get excited about it. I haven’t worn the stick, but I’ll surely give it a try in the future. The color looks lovely, and not too overpowering, and as with every item in this subscription box — it’s great to bring along while traveling.

The next item — I think was the item, which Marzia had put most of her heart into — Comic Book. I had been eager to read it ever since she posted about it on her blog— generally, I’m not really into reading comics, but this comic book got me thrilled. There’s no doubt that Marzia has got a talent in drawing and writing, and this comic book is yet another proof of it. The design and the pictures are adorable, and I love that she chose her pugs to be main characters of the story. The comic book — in my opinion — really showed her dedication to her fans.

The sixth item on the list was the Marzipan Notepad, which had pretty much the same design as the comic book’s cover. I can always use a good quality notepad, and it will probably get in handy at school (if not earlier).

The seventh item on the list was the Forest Creatures Pencil. Unfortunately, I hadn’t had a chance to lay my hands on her Forest Creature themed items yet, so I was happy to own at least one item from that collection. I appreciate the fact that she thought about everything, and paired the pencil with the notepad.

The next item on the list was the Scent Trunk Custom Perfume, which is actually from her other collection (Limone Collection). I ordered few items from the collection, and I’m still expecting them, but while I was shopping I had thought about ordering her scent, but I didn’t because I’m stacked with perfume right now. I was glad to discover that she included her scent in the subscription box.

The ninth item on the list was Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Face Serum. I had used it once, and I loved it. I used it before I went to the bed, right before the cream, and at first — the smell was heavenly. Plus it made my skin feel really silky and hydrated.

The next item on the list was NYX Illuminating Stick in Rose Petal Pop. So here occurs the same situation as with the wet n wild Megaglo Makeup Stick. I will definitely try it out as soon as I have somewhere to wear it to. The color of the stick looks really pretty though, and I can definitely see myself wearing it. I also like the rose theme that she had incorporated with her beauty items within this box — as I myself love roses.

The eleventh item on the list was Erbaviva Organic Lemon Sage Deodorant Spray. I was actually really glad that she had included the deodorant in her subscription box as I have been on a hunt for a good deodorant for a while now, and I didn’t have any at home. I have already used it for few times, and I enjoyed the scent of it and the fact that it didn’t leave any traces on the clothing. Plus I liked the fact that it came in a spray bottle.

The twelveth item on the list was Yes To Charcoal Face Wipes. I hadn’t used them yet, but I’m excited to try them out. These sound amazing and very promising. I can surely see myself using them on my everyday basis. I have actually never heard about charcoal wipes before. I’m actually considering on saving them for England, but I don’t know if I have so much patience within me.

The thirteenth item on the list was Lip Smacker in Watermelon. This item was a huge throwback for me, back to the time when I was obsessed with Lip Smackers. I literally had to have them in every flavor that they had — oh, good times! Anyway, I liked the flavor and the fact that she chose it to be watermelon — so it fitted the summer theme perfectly.

The fourteenth item on the list was Socks from her Lemon Collection. The same story as with the scent, I had also thought about ordering the socks from her collection. I’m glad that she included them in the camping box because I actually really liked them when I was considering on what to order. I enjoy the fact that they’re a bit longer than the regular socks, and I love their funky style. These I’ll certainly save for my studies in England.

The fifteenth item on the list was Marzipan Drawstring Backpack. I have always wanted to have the drawstring backpack, and I was happy to found out that Marzia will have one in her camping box. I love backpacks, but sometimes, I need something even lighter than a backpack — that’s the time when the drawstring backpack comes in handy for me. I have already got a chance to wear it once — actually I posted a picture of it on my Twitter. I wore it to the same hike which I mentioned earlier. I liked the simple design of it and that it matched my bandana.

The sixteenth item on the list was La Come Di Camping Pin. I hadn’t worn it yet, but I’ll look forward to incorporating it with some of my looks. I didn’t want to attach it to the backpack because I was afraid I would lose it during the hike. I like the style of the pin itself — again — it’s very unique and funky looking. It certainly has the similar design details as the mug.

The last item on the list was $10 Gift Card to Marzia’s E-Store. Which I’ll definitely use up in the future.

Anyway, these were all the items included in the V.I.M Camping Box. I’m happy with all the items, which I received, and for the price of $89 dollars — I think it was worth buying. I loved that every item she included was well-thought through. I truly felt special as I was unboxing — just all the items felt like they were gifts from a dear friend. I want to thank Marzia for creating such an amazing subscription box. I can’t wait for the next one to arrive!

The last thing before I leave, I love reading your feedback on my posts — please let me know how did you like the review, and what is your general opinion on my blog (suggestions, remarks, etc.).

  1. Great post! Marzia is really sweet, indeed!

As a fellow bookworm, more book related posts would be much appreciated, btw 🙂 I’d love to see a list of your favorite books (and why you liked them) or even more so a list of books that you DISliked and why so. I also love me a good in depth review that analyzes the characters and events in the book and whether you liked them or not (just make sure to give a spoiler warning heh).

I love working out as well, so maybe a workout routine or something of that sort would be cool too!

And your style is really unique and cool, so posts on your style or how you found it would definitely be interesting to read as well.
And, of course, keep us updated on your modelling journey!

Love your blog, keep up the good work!
